Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What sort of inconveniences can I expect?
A: We will attempt to minimize any inconveniences that you will experience.  However, if it is a kitchen remodel, keep in mind that this is the heart of your home. The area will be out of commission for the duration of the construction process. You can prepare for this by eating take out meals, grilling and eating out. Make sure that you have an easily accessible source of water as there may be no running water in the kitchen. Appliances may also be out of commission during this time.

Q: What if I change my mind about something during the construction process?
A: This is not uncommon and is expected on just about every project. However, be aware that all changes must be put in writing and signed by you. Changes can cause delays, especially when an item must be ordered. We will inform you immediately of the impact that changes will have on your project, including any extra costs and addition of time to the expected completion date.

Q: To whom should I direct my questions and concerns?
A: We want you to be ecstatic about your new project so please don't hesitate to ask questions or make comments. We ask that all questions and comments be directed to Caleb, the owner. This will ensure that you get the correct answers promptly and that the crew will not be distracted. We want to keep things moving along and asking questions of the crew will slow things down, as they would have to stop what they are doing to contact someone else for the answer.

Q: Will my house be a mess?
A: We will broom-clean the construction area every day. At the end of the job, we will do a final cleanup. You may experience an increase in dust throughout your home during the construction, for this we apologize, but its something that can't always be avoided. We will place plastic tarps over sensitive furniture, flooring and artwork and create dust barriers to minimize this inconvenience if requested.

Q: When will the work crew arrive and leave? What days will they be here?
A: We pride ourselves in maintaining a 100% flexible schedule to meet your construction needs and wants for your home or business. We can often obtain noise permits or other similar permits to comply with city ordinances that would otherwise prohibit work to be completed at certain times of day or night. Rain or shine, day or night, we will customize our schedule to fit yours.
